so ive been playing the call of duty series since i got xbox live last summer and while they are still badass i think its time for a new game...i have played the fable trilogy and beat all of them so those r out...but any other suggestions are greatly apreciated and please explain why you like the game...btw i like stragety and rpg games...

        Ah, yes, "Mass Effect". A game that entices it's players into wasting hundreds of hours playing it over and over. We've dismissed that theory.

    Fall out series (first two were over head play style, while 3 and NV are fps/rpg.)
    If you have an x-box, Halo
    It has an epic story in game and beyond. Great multiplayer (look up for more details because there is so much.) and is just awesome. I won't go into more detail unless you ask, but as a tip look for bungie stuff in the future as they are great developers. (fps btw) And if this sounds interesting but not the fps part, try halo wars, its topdown strategy game, and I like it
    L4D series (okay only 2 of them but whatever). Again another FPS but still zombies games are awesome and this is a good one.
    To name off some others I have not personally played but heard good are:
    Bioshock series (fps? i think)
    Assassins creed series (not sure)
    Borderlands (well mixed takes but I plan to get it) (fps/rpg)
    Oblivion (fps/rpg i think)
    Gears of war (fps)
    and for some ps3 exclusives ive heard about:
    God of war series (not sure)
    Resistance (fps, and from what I played pretty cool)
    uncharted (rpg i think)
    I'm big on fps (if you haven't noticed) and xbox (as I own one) but these are what I have heard are good

        askjldhfiuhasd What?! Well, you do have a point. Reach is nothing like the older Halos BUT I love COD and they mixed that in to Halo, kind of, so that's why I play it. COD has to many fucking campers so I gave up on that game.

          i agree...theyre quite a bit of campers in COD but i still love the game...and after about halo 3 i gave up on the halo series...halo 1 was fantastic and then halo 2 was alright and then halo 3 came along and i quit
