i woke up this morning turned on the news and seen that an australian soldier was killed by a roadside bomb while on a routine patrol in afghanistan he was 22 and engaged to be married and he was quoted as saying that he couldnt wait to get home to his fiancee and start a family...23 really hit home for me and im proud to be australian and my thoughts go out to his family in their time of greif
yeah i have nothing but respect for them they are brave and courageous and willing to put their lives on the line so the rest of us can live in peace. they are the embodiment of honour respect and bravery and i salute those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty to protect us
I've only seen the beginning of Toy Story 3 but i cried when i watched Up like on 3 separate occasions. I'm not ashamed it feels good to cry once in awhile

#17 and the story about the Song of storms and the Ocarina of Time get to me every time I read them, they remind me of a friend I will never see again ...... :'(
time erodes man and mountain alike no matter what you do or where you go immortality is a fools dream and time like the reaper's cold blade cuts man and mountain alike, ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
Omigosh... 23 literally had tears rolling down my face.

It shouldn't matter whether or not it is sincere, maybe it's made up by some fourteen year old boy with too much time on his hand. But the story itself is inspirational in the bond of friendship portrayed so whether there is truth to it or not should not matter at all. That's like saying all the Disney movies for little kids are crap because they aren't the same as the original stories.
Granted, we like the original tales better, but they are still good for children. Much in the same way these tales might not be real, but they can still be inspirational.
