WHO DO YOU SUPPORT?
Feel free to debate, give the reasons why?

I support Barrack Obama. It's because they will support my school, (deaf school). Republican won't support deaf school. Also, Democracy supports middle classes while Republican supports only rich classes. Well I can't vote so I don't have other reasons, lol.

OK now, its about 10 months into obama's presidency. I never supported obama. I don't agree with his socialistic utopia that he dreams of. Did you know that when democrats complain about people in America who don't have health care that number includes all of the illegal immigrants in America. That number also includes young healthy people who don't have health care by choice. They dont want to pay for it because they are young and healthy. I bet all of you obama supporters didn't know that.

Hm, Obama is trying to change too much all at once. I don't like that. And plus! 30% of my father's income a year goes to middle-class taxes! Thats NOT cool. You know what. I don't like either of them. I know Bush has fkd up alot of things, but I'd rather stick with him.

Everyone knows that that "middle class tax cut" isn't free... Odds are some other tax is going to get raised to pay for it...

yes, but higher taxes for the rich and more programs for the middle and lower classes would be a much better way of doing things

It will be on November 4th, it will be announced by the Electoral College. We can vote, but it will affect little bit on those people who decide the winner. So on November 4th, one of them will be picked, but they can't do anything until January (something), then they will have the power as president.

Winner will be announced the same day when voting ends? Don't they need some time to count all those votes?

They vote while we are voting basically. We vote on computer so it counts for us in seconds instead of by hand which takes a day or way more.

Well I am more of neutral now because supporting either one of them will not make any difference, both will mess up on some of things so I rather to just follow what we have right now

Obama really pisses me off. Mainly because he hasn't done anything remotely like the ideas he ran on since he was elected? Healthcare? The only difference now is that insurence companies can no longer deny children with pre-existing problems coverage. Economy? The stimulus helped, but not enough.

My biggest issue with him however is how eaily he backs down. He tries too hard to get repulbicans on his side (Who are convinced he's a socialist, however if you pay any attention to the news, he hasn't done anything remotely socialistic, I'm having doubts that this guy is even a liberal.)

Rather than using his majority to get things accomplished. He even gave up on trying to repeal Bush's taxt cuts in favour of cuts for the middle class (these were tax cuts that only the richest Americans get, 2% to be specific, in favour of doing something that will benefit the rest of the country. Even repealing 'Don't ask don't tell" is taking ridiculously long. All you need is to bring one gay soldier in front of the senate who's been injured like any other troop serving his country. Debate over. He's a coward, just like the rest of the democrats. The only thing worse would be to allow the Republicans back in charge, who defend the same people who got us into this economic mess in the first place. The republican party has lost its mind, (It's not just Palin and the teabaggers, there was a poll that said the majority of the party still thinks Obama is a muslim, when he is beyond the shadow of a doubt, christian. There are still many conservatives who don't even think he was born in the USA, these people are so stunned that they don't know Hawaii is a state? True, the democrats aren't geniuses either, but the republcians are just anti intellectual now judging by thier behaviour.) It's a shame really, because now it's looking this same party is beating the democrats in the polls right now. People are buying into the fear mongering, and they're going to pay for it. It's all because democrats don't assert themselves.

McCain. I just enlisted in the Marines (finally) and Obama doesnt give a shit about the troops. McCain really cares about us with bonuses and benefits. Obama would take those away.

BTW guys, Im sorry, but I won't be on for a while... I just enlisted, so I have A LOT to do with the whole processing thing. So I won't be on for a month or so. Sorry to leave you guys. Oh, and remember that mod job for me Paul ;] (jkjk...)

...... Stick with Bush? Wow America is crazy. Even diehard republicans hate Bush after what all he has done to the economy. I agree neither Obama or McCain are good candidates, but right now Obama is the one that can fix the economical crisis that we're in right now. McCain would continue Bush's policies, and dig a shit hole for America even deeper than the one its going into right now. Obama has won now, and while im not happy that he is president, im glad he beat McCain. And what makes change bad sunshine? The country is going to hell in a hand basket, you don't think we need change? That is exactly what we need. My personal opinion, why in the hell did Obama beat Hilary in the democratic nomination? That is almost as dumb as the time Bush was reelected for his second term. I dont know what people are thinking these days! All I know is that the country needs change right now. Obama is hiring the same economical team as Clinton, and that was very successful, and the country had a huge surplus ( which was immediately depleted once Bush was inogerated). So I am confortable that Obama will do good for the economy. Although racism is still a large issue, even though it has died down a lot. This could cause an uprise in the nation, and cause riots, and other civil misunderstandings within america. Also, organizations such as KKK or Aryans are rumoured to have plotted an assassination. I doubt thats true but its just something to consider. Bush goes down in history as the worst president the states has ever seen, so anything is better than him, i highly doubt that Obama can screw it up more than he has. Things can only go uphill as soon as King George is out of office.
