Personally, I feel that its a pretty close race, I can't really declare a winner. What do you guys prefer?

I work for Hewlett Packard. I am a Windows user. I appreciate both PC's as they are both good products. My main set for being a ***windows*** user is I don't like the proprietary products and complications that come with Mac. Plus there is the price tag. I do support that the Mac OS series is a good system and I do like it. But again, it's so far proprietary that it turns me away again. If I had thousands of dollars to use for a Mac I might get one, but everything I need is available for my Windows machines and I can avoid that large price tag.

As far as which I prefer, I don't. It's a personal and economical preference. Those that have the money to buy Mac tend to love them and good for them. Those who prefer Windows, good for you. If it works it works, period. I support HP and their products, it's a good system for a good price with great HP support. Even higher end gaming machines. Again, it's personal choice and what you chose is fine with me.

PC is much easier in my opinion. Computer classes are based off of using a pc. A PC is a work computer that can be upgraded very easily and works very efficiently. PC will constantly grow and keep adding onto what they already have and never stop. Mac on the other hand is simply a run-off of a PC. It's based more around people who want a visually enhanced computer. Mac comes from Apple which is only compatible with its own software. PC and Microsoft actually try to make all software compatible so that you can run iTunes on a PC. You can't, however, run the Windows Media Player on a Mac unless you have it hacked somehow. A generic program won't work. I'll settle my case by saying that I'm a PC. :D

PC... much simpler to use and much more intuitive. Cheaper too. I could replace my laptop PC 3 times before paying the same price for a Mac

pc is better for a lot of different reasons. number is because it has better connection and u wont lose ur connection to ur pc unlike a mac which if u carry it around a lot then u might lose connection from what ur doing and if ur doing something important and u cant save it then ur screwed. Pc is also better because of another reason and that is they have better graphics. Graphics are very important if u are either a gamer or an online artist. u wanna make sure the art looks good and the graphics of a game looks good.

PC. There is far more flexibilty with a PC and FAR more software options. There are also options with regards to upgrading and a much larger pool of hardware available. The majority of consumer level stock computers have more power than most users would ever need and cost far less than the cheapest mac available. To me a MAC is nothing more than a status symbol saying I've got money to burn.

If you use a MAC regularly then a PC is overwhelming and messy. PC users would have the same experience using a MAC.

It all depends on what you want. For a gaming computer, I would go with a PC. If i wanted a work computer I would go with apple. I grew up around apples, so that's why. PC for gaming though :D

Im gonna have to go with the losing team Mac. At First I would have agreed that P.C. was better but when I actually tried out the Mac I loved it, plus they are starting to put new games out that are compatible with Macs so it only doesn't play old games that were made with P.C. in mind because it was the main format used then.

I'm with you, Carl. Everyone who said that PC was easier to use - ur all close-minded. Once you actually TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT, since everyone's used to PCs, you find after awhile that they're much easier to use, and what's more, PCs are the ones crashing all the time. Even so, I agree PCs are better for games, although you can get most in Mac version too.

I'm a Mac guy. According to most objective surveys, Macs are easier to use, but it is true that usually PCs are better gaming consoles. However, recently, with the addition of Intel Processors and Boot Camp, Macs can actually run the Windows OS... Whereas Windows can't run the Mac OS. Also, having Software and Hardware from the same company is really helpful in the customer service department.

Allllllllllso, my Uncle was the head of the development team for Quicktime. So maybe I'm bias ; P.
