Mac Help
I have an Apple Power Macintosh G5 2.0 DP (PCI-X 2) from my dad. He gave it to me and bought an iMac after it quit by giving a click and turning off, and now it gray-screens and doesn't start up. I've tried the SafeBoot (hold shift when powering on) unsuccessfully and suspect maybe the PRAM battery is dead (bought in Nov. '04), and I really wanna get this thing working. It would would be better for me to replace almost everything but the case than get a Windows PC, because I'm in a Mac family, the OS is familiar, and my programs are built for Macintosh. Also, if there was a way to get an intel motherboard for the G5, that would let me do more. Help anyone?
