JAPAN HIT BY ANOTHER HIGH MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE 4-7-2011
This morning, Veracruz, Mexico was hit by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake.
Around 40-60 minutes ago, a 7.1 earthquake was recorded 25km underwater off the coast of Japan.
I'm not one to say any of that 2012 bullshit, but this is getting kind of freaky.

Well fuck. I'm starting to think that we're all screwed. Still hoping that 2012 is finical collapses rather than environmental but if it is environmental we are all fucked.

Never said it was, nor do I believe in the 2012 apocalypse, just saying that Japan angered Earth Pret-ty badly.
The "Ring of Fire's" plate moves in a sort of northwestern direction, and all the other plates around it put pressure on it, keeping it more or less stationary. Untill the built up pressure to move over powers the friction of the other plates, and alot of earth moves at once, causing an earthquake. There has been major activity all around it in the past couple of years. XD yea i figured when you work in 911...you see some things that will just make you have to pick up your jaw from the floor but for the most part im not surprised by much anymore it just becomes another day at the office

ok so about the mayan prophecy, If the ancient mayans could predict the exact date that the worlds is going to end then why exactly could the not foresee the drought and invasion that eventually wiped out their entire civilization, also according to the new idiots its the 21st of may
Actually if I remember correctly there was some sort of prophecy involving the arrival of Cortes (this is an Aztec prediction NOT Mayans as their culture had already begun to decline only saying this because they did in fact predict the arrival). The prophecy involved a tall white man on some strange creature (horses weren't in the americas till they were brought over). He was supposed to be the main god of the aztecs or something and he came to the shore same time that they predicted him to come. And technically they weren't wiped out as there are small villages in the areas where they once lived which still practice their religion and culture. The truth is that they weren't technically and empire. Like Greece they were more of an alliance. Basically loosely aligned groups looking to protect common interest.
