I'm in central Missouri and our university has cancelled class for tomorrow. I've been out of class since Tuesday and I've gotten 3 snow days out of this monster storm. Before this snow storm, the university had closed school only 2 other times; now the total is 5 times in its 180 year history, and I've experienced 3 of them (so far!!)

    That sucks! It's ok being off school for half the week but not when I live off campus and all my friends are on campus. Oh and it's pretty hard for cars to drive in 18-20 inches of snow lol

        Mhmm, I tried that yesterday in an empty street just to see how slick it was with the snow and I didn't even have to get the brakes halfway down and I started sliding.

        OMG im from Wisconsin seeing people like freaked out by an inch of snow is so funny like legit only and inch on the road is a good day ha it take a foot in like 4 hours to close anything up here it sucks

i hate it here i kile we have no snow just you know the coldest wether in the last 20 years and my pencible wont close school. im cold cause my heater sucks if it doesn't snow and i dont miss school im going to be pissed

I live in Texas!
(Mansfield!)
And boy there is ice EVERYWHERE!
I went sledding with some kind of plastic window thingy and it was BADASS!!
On top of that I haven't been to school in THREE DAYS!!
I'm like "OMG, fuck yes!!"
Best. Worst. Weather. Ever.

I came from an area where there was snow anywhere between 7 to 9 months out of the year, just calm down, dress warm, drive smart, and always remember to turn into the skid.

    More than that! My school in Wisconsin never closed, even after big snowstorms and nearby schools closed :(
    
    My Texas school closed for a week after like an inch of snow and some ice :/ They don't have plows or salt for the ice down here though, so it isn't really the same though :P

        Glad I don't have to deal with it anymore haha. It's also a lot warmer down here, I'll be having like 90's in march and I'll be talking to my family in wisconsin and they'll be like "its still snowing here!!" lol

        Way down south here too. But i like it because of the proximity to Mexico. Only snowed here 2 times. I believe in like 1908 and then when i was like 10.
