the idea of god was to instill beliefs and morales into people during a pre civilized era. the commandments were set in place to trick people that thou shall honor thy neighbors wife and thou shall not kill or steal because participating in a bad manner like that would piss some1 off and there would be cpnsiquences for it that would go agaisnt nature and cause the species to kill itself off. The idea is not all that bade but we are evolved enough now to understand that just because we don't understand something doesn't mean its magical and that we should live in fear that we are being watched, that we have to kill those who question "the faith", and that we have to pay to get into heaven, or even answer for our sins. It is ridiculous that so many people are killed out of an idea that has no substantial prove or evidence. However, it is not close minded to believe, its a little ignorant but as they say ignorance is bliss. In conclusion, i dont believe in god....so sue me or send me to hell. I do believe in love tho, and peace, and maybe a little magic likea destiny or healeres and prophets perhaps. Why pray and idolize a deity tho when you should be living your life and trying to make it the one you want for yourself. Believers, good for you, but sorry i just don't have that kind of blind faith.Besides, the christians and catholics wiped out a lot of knowledge during the Midievel Dark Ages and thats just not cool in my book. We could be so much farther advanced if it wasn't for their intolerance and hate for people of science and fact.

St. Thomas Aquinas wrote a book called "the 5 logical proofs of God". its pretty interesting, he doesnt try to prove a specific God, just that one must exist.
for example: creation; if you keep backtracking how the universe got here, youre going to eventually have to come to a source (that either was always there, or created itself), based on the laws of the universe as we know/understand them... he explains it differently and goes into it much deeper. but you get the point.

i believe it must have been an intelligent design based on how rediculously complex the DNA structure on a minimal single celled organism, they've tried making life from non life... using everything present in a young earth, agited it, made it the proper temperature, and struck it with lightning repeatedly. and sped it up, and it created a building block of a protein (many people took this as proof that life can come from non life) but... thats the building block of a single protein (the particular one is common in many meteors (its a minera)... compare that to how complex a single dna strand is, and how the protein would have to be perfectly assembled. then all the things needed would need to be aranged in such a "clockwork" way... it reminds me of a quote about shakespeare. it goes something like "He did not create the plays himself, theyre not totally original, the lines, circles, curves, etc of the written language already have existed in nature, he merely arranged them" if you can accept that as being a possibility, then you can also believe in life coming from a chance happening. but you must also believe 2 more things. the DNA must be read, DNA contains the encoding for its own code, so you have to believe that was made at a chance happening. like a translation to a language. AND you must also believe that after its arranged, it will somehow become animated. (by some process unknown to science.) this being must also contain the ability to reproduce.

I think this topic is the most difficult topic in the world.

It is way to complicated and unbelieveable to think about it. I think that I should be happy that I live. I don't want to know how all that happend. And it honestly scares me how big the universe is. And if you look at this size it would be foolish to say that there is no other life apart from the life on the earth.

i look at this way their is a god and created everything. Science is in a way people trying to understand gods work. we have yet to figure everything out. take the the atom for example once believed to be the smallest particle known to man then we made advances in technology and discovered the electron proton and neutron. those make up the atom. Now we have made more advances in tech and found particles in that. We as man are not meant to understand the works universe just part of it. even with DNA we know makes up the blue print of man kind. but we can not be certain that their is more to it. why you ask because it is not possible to know everything everything in the universe because god dose not want us to.

the problem with man is that he is trying to put his standards on something not like him. you will never understand the Lord God. All things have a purpose, even 9/11. As the Lord God I am not here to control your life. i have given people free will to make choices. remember God is not a genie who is here to serve you. part of life is death. 100% of everyone who has ever lived or will ever live will die. so make the most of the time you have. its a short time. the next time you want to tell some one to fuck off, say something nice. humans make the earth what they want it to be.
