I Miss Bill Clinton

securedownload 1 - I Miss President Bill Clinton

It doesn't matter what party you belong to. From a show on Canadian TV, there was a black comedian who said he misses Bill Clinton.
"Yep, that's right, I miss Bill Clinton! He was the closest thing we ever got to having a black man as President.

Number 1 - He played the sax..

Number 2 - He smoked weed.

Number 3 - He had his way with ugly white women.

Even now? Look at him... his wife works, and he doesn't! And, he gets a check from the government every month. Manufacturers announced today that they will be stocking America's shelves this week with " Clinton Soup," in honor of one of the nations' most distinguished men. It consists primarily of a weenie in hot water.
Chrysler Corporation is adding a new car to its line to honor Bill Clinton. The Dodge Drafter will be built in Canada ...
When asked what he thought about foreign affairs, Clinton replied, "I don't know, I never had one."
The Clinton revised judicial oath: "I solemnly swear to tell the truth as I know it, the whole truth as I believe it to be, and nothing but what I think you need to know."
Clinton will be recorded in history as the only President to do Hanky Panky between the Bushes."

If you were one of thirty two in the Nation to receive a Rhodes scholarship to go study at Oxford, and were morally opposed to the war at hand, and happened to have the connections to avoid being drafted, AND the tenacity to become President and serve your country much more than being in the military would have, wouldn't you have done the same?

no, when you dodge the draft you are then make some else go in your place. you basically are saying my life is worth more than yours. he is yet another example of the rich man not having to go to war, and the poor man does. if you are for the war or not that does not matter. what matters is will you do your job so that some other unlucky guy does not have to.

In fact, the way about which he dodged the draft did not cause the calamity to which you refer. He had a spot reserved for him on a Naval Reserve unit. When he did not take this spot that he secured for himself (a unit never to see wartime action), he was sent a notice at Oxford to report to duty, but by law was allowed to finish out his term. He came back to the states, and enrolled in the ROTC program at University of Arkansas. Then, in the fall, he went back to Oxford in exchange for returning to 1-A status (forcing him to report to duty when available.) Due to new laws, he was allowed to finish out his school year at Oxford. His birthdate was then given an extremely high number, securing that he would not be drafted.

Nothing illegal was done, and no one was put in harms way while he "dodged" the draft in favor of education that would eventually guide the country.

this is news to me. as far as i and the country know he dodged the draft sending some other person to fight in his place.
              Now according to Bill he was a draft dodger;

December 3, 1969 - While still in England, Clinton writes to Lt. Col. Eugene Holmes, , commander of the University of Arkansas ROTC Program and states, "From my work I came to believe that the draft system is illegitimate."
Make no mistake i am not saying he was a bad president. my grandfather once said it best, any president who has had 2 terms has something to offer.

Oh, I know you aren't saying anything about his presidential character, but you are certainly saying a lot about his personal character, which is what I am defending.

His personal opinion has no bearing on the facts I outlined above.

who he is does have bearing on the fact that he was not one to put his fellow country man fist and himself 2nd. my father flew in viet nam. he was my inspiration to join the marines and fly. the reason he flew was after college he was drafter. he and i are the type who would rather do our job than make you do it. when its your turn to do your, we expect you to do it. Ask not how you can dodge the draft, ask what you can do for your country.

he didn't really do anything. at all, he's a terrible kind of person... he's a slimey snake (aka a lawyer)

and dont give me that "he balanced the budget of the country and made a surplus" ... that was a direct result of the ".com boom": had nothing to do with him, yet the DNC loves to take credit for it.

he stopped persuing saddam when he came into power, allowing saddam to rise back into power (causing countless deaths of those women, children, unarmed men that he hated so much based on their race)

. he didnt persue bin laden after bin laden had people plant bombs in the WTC the first time.

OH! and lets not forget under his administration they fired thousands of intelligence officers in the middle east. their main job being... watching groups like al queda, taliban, etc by infiltrating their organizations, so that we can effectively stop things like 9/11 BEFORE they happen. keep in mind... this happened only a few months before bush was elected. (that was not clinton himself of course... like i said... he did nothing... it merely happened under his administration ... but still)
