The Huey is faster.. and less detectable by radar good for silent air attacks but the Apache carrys up to 30 guided missles at a time.. along with a mounted 25.mm and various other toys.. so the cobra may be able to run and hide but when the cursors line up and the red button is pushed ...... bye bye Cobra.. Apache 4 the win.
Both completely BAD-ASS , but Im partial to the Cobra - its still in use after all these years, that should tell you about its reliability and that they have not found a better replacement.
Both good, two complete different uses.
Cobra, close combat support chopper. Fast, swings in lays down a line of fire and the ground marines clean up the mess it leaves.
Apache, long rage strike chopper. Designed to fire at over 1 mile plus. Can get close up and help but still designed to not be seen and hit from affar.

Apache, cos its got a 30mm High Explosive chain gun that is controlled by the pilot's eye, 12 laser-guided Hellfire Missiles that can each turn a tank inside out, and 2 rocket racks , effective against personnel or vehicles, AND an automatic SAM missile evasion system that could throw any missile off-course. And it has 2 more main rotors than the Huey, giving twice the lift in half the time with half the noise. The Huey doesn't have anything that could rival it, it is the ultimate attack helicopter
The Cobra was introduced in 1967, yes it was a good chopper, but the Apache was introduced in 1984. Technologies had obviously moved on from '67. Also, the Apache is so sophisticated that only the very best pilots in the world can fly them. In the hands of such pilots, it's deadly, whereas with the Cobra, average pilots could fly one. There is a big difference
if you want to know the truth from an ex marine fly boy who used to fly the super stallion the Apache is much easier to fly. the computer helps out a lot, so does the on board "secretary"(the computer talks to you). the cobra is missing the navigation assistance that the apache has. trust me when i say if i was to put you in a simulator, we could have you flying in under 30 min.
On the other hand, i've read a biography by a British pilot who flies the British AH Mk1 Apache, and he mentioned that most of the pilots he went through apache selection with, who were some of the best in the world and perfectly qualified to fly a Huey, failed the apache because they couldn't handle just how complicated it was.
