How spammer accounts are handled
So I have noticed that more and more spam accounts have popped up in the past couple of weeks and this got me thinking how the accounts are dealt with. I Know that the post is deleted but do the same set of rules that apply to others apply to them or are the IP addresses blocked from the get go? I really would like a mod to tell me.

is there going to be some kind of system to suspending accounts? cause that doesnt sound safe to make mods be able to do that
Hopefully yes - but anyone who abuses that privilege will be pwned from the system themselves.
yeah i would assume that but they should make a safety net before the give mods the power because if someone gets suspended so a month are so for no reason they might never get back on. not that don't trust the other mods just that someone might get pissed off at them and just suspend them
I see well in that case I am putting a suggestion in. Why not bring spammer accounts directly to Paul for more or less automatic termination, because it just seems like the current system will be over run by spammers given the current trend continues.
They tend to do 1 post per account so its not much point blocking a single account... look

That is true it would be futile to block single accounts but it would be worth looking into whether or not they are made from different IP addresses I mean the best way to kill a tree is to start at the roots.
these accounts have had numerous spam post infractions as seen in the pictures. By the time you see this it may have already been taken care of I just figured why not just in case.
well we just delete the posts. If it continues from the same acct. which is hardly ever we let paul or darius know. They then decide what to do.

In the future, mods will have more features to be able to suspend accounts etc.
