Zelda - too true... There were many a night spent trying to get a little closer to the end.....
that game did set the bar high, and still puts new stuff to shame.
Yes very true about Zelda. I just purchased it for the Gamecube so I could play on my brother's Wii. Every day I wake up and hope that I will hear news that they are making a new Zelda game for Xbox 360 so I can buy it for mine. But I somehow doubt that will happen.
Is this a game I should download for my Wii mod? I quit playing console games around the time Everquest was released and didn't go back to them until last year.
EDIT: I think I might have beat this game actually. One of my roomates had it about 6 months before Everquest was released. Was there like a multiheaded desert snake boss in this game?
As for Ninja Turtles, anyone remember the little jump you had to do in the sewers that basically dried up any extra lives you had?

The Legend of Zelda was truly EPIC - it was way ahead of its time but might not be received well in today's gaming world. There are some games that are "the Greats" and Zelda is definitely one of them. When I see the game - I automatically start hearing the in game music from it..... I too remember Ninja Turtles and it was pretty fun for like a week , then I got pissed because the controls were absolute shit.
