Girl troubles
ok, so this is the situation, ive lately been liking this girl and its not like I've not known her for a long time. I've known her for 4 years now and I've recently started liking her. Now I want to know if she likes me so that I can ask her out, but how?
I asked her if she liked somebody else, and her response shocked me:
"Well there is this guy I asked and I told him I liked him and he liked me back, but its complicated." and she didnt go on to explain what was "complicated".
What should I do? <and I dont know who "that guy" is>
TO be optimistic, I've thought up of this scinerio. which is HIGHLY unlikely, but this is what I <hope> is going on -> in essence she does like me but she's shy, therefore she mentions another guy so that she can entice me into liking her. but I noticed a logical fallacy in that, that if she mentioned another guy, then wouldnt that be a message meaning "go away"?
any advice appreciated,

i was in that situation before, nothing happened in it though, in ur case just hang out with her a bunch and try talking about things and stuff im not great with relationships though so, but my best advice is do what feels right deep down in ur heart
Don't get hooked or you'll suffer ... If she wants you, she has to make you know that, otherwise it's a waste of time.

dude i get you im in the same situation but exccept that in my case its this really pretty french exchange student and i think she likes cause shes always smilying at me and she looks like she gets nervouse when i talk to her...... so ima ask her out see what happens

ask and find out if nothing else just play it off as a joke.... wow you guys are all fail trying to say wait for her to ask you that will never happen because if she does she is in the same boat .... and to all you with same problems ask them out stopping being so chicken....
