    How did she die?

Capacocha is what the sacrifice is called . Radiologists concluded that she was killed by blunt trauma to the head .
The sacrifice is a long process . They choose the girl months or years before , fatten her up using animal proteins , give her fine clothing and jewellery , big feast with emperor
The Incan high priests took the victims to high mountaintops for sacrifice. Because the journey was extremely long and difficult, coca leaves were fed to them to aid them in their breathing so they could reach the burial site alive. Upon reaching the burial site, the children were given an intoxicating drink to minimize pain, fear, and resistance, then killed them either by strangulation, a blow to their head, or by leaving them to lose consciousness in the extreme cold and die of exposure.

She should be ... they choose the best girl who is physically perfect and healthy and in between 6 and 15 years old, because they were the best the people could present to their gods.

So what are the pictures up at the top showing? Is that fake skin and hair and clothes that they put on her? That picture you posted doesn't quite look like the most preserved mummy of all time.
