Game Design

Hey guys, as some of you may know, I make video games as a side job. I've just started a new game about a month ago, but mainly the only work that's been done on it has been core gameplay mechanics, and very little of the actual game has been made.

However, now that college is over with for the semester, and I am taking summer off, I will have a lot more time to work on this game. I was wondering, would you guys like to see the game design process I use when making games? Maybe even test the game in the early alpha stages and give me feedback on what you liked and didn't like about it?

Anyways, here are some screens:

smallcave - game design

encyclopediamonsteroff - game design

I shall help you test as well! And Vans is right, it does look like final fantasy. The old man on #2 looks really familiar...

I'll help if I can also.
Btw. What sort of software are you using for this?

I use RPG Maker, and have been using it through previous versions though this game will be made with the newly released RPG Maker VX Ace http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/product/rpg-maker-vx-ace

This is amazing. I personally love minecraft and i know bad graphics are the point of the game but it would be so much better if it had better graphics. Just my opinion.

Aesthetic and graphic fidelity are two different things.

Wow, a lot of posts all of a sudden :D! I'll make a new post with a download link when I make considerable progress in the game(Introduction and Chapter 1 done), which is still a ways off. Thanks for the support :)!
