I'm hoping you won't consider this as spam.
A friend of mine has set up a site, which can be used as an alternative homepage if you wish.
It's pretty basic, just containing links to popular sites, as it's supposed to be an index of sorts to make navigating to sites easier.
Check it out, no account, sign up or surveys required. And as far as I'm aware he's not intending on putting ads in (although there is a donate button, if you're feeling generous).
He's got plans to improve it later on, so even if you aren't gonna use it/only visit it once, could you give some feedback/suggestions (constructive only please, we're all mature people here), as this was his first attempt at making a website (that I'm aware of), and I'll make sure to pass them on.
