I remember the first game I ever played was Super Mario World for the SNES that my dad had bought while he was in college, but had never really played it. The games that got me into gaming were Pokémon Red, Gold, Silver, and Crystal. I got really into the nest installment of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, but havent gone any farther with the series.
First game on the computer was a Mickey Mouse game (3 years old), then came the playstation 1 with Duke Nukem(5 years old). For the game boy it was Tetris (5 years old). Other than that, I can't really think of anything else.

Oh I am so old, yes space invaders in the expensive arcades (it just been invented). I also remember tennis on some sort of home game, 2 paddles with dials (later called breakout on the spectrum). But then Horace goes sking on the zx81 with an amazing 1k of memory. If you were really posh you had had 16k version :)

I remember three games but dont really know which I played first
The first one was Ports of call a really old game from a friend of mine where you have your own shipping business
the other one I remember was sonic I think
and I played metal gear solid (or maybe just metal gear I dont remember really)
because I wasn't old enough to go to the Kindergarten I dont really remember which game I was playing first lol
but I was always playing with my older brother
(and for some reason I am still not a mass murder even though I played "killer games" when I was 3 years old or something I wonder why)

for me the original medal of honor on ps1 stayed up all night playing it and loved it
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back was the first video game I ever got.
Original Mario Brothers, it's how I learned how to read when I was 3, that way I didn't have to get the parents to read what was happening, even though it was a variation of about 5 sentences...... lol.
Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World on the SNES.
midnight club DUB edition remix was the first game i played and the 1 that got me into gaming. i have recently been playing mw2,(Modern Warfare 2), and have gone 10th prestige.
Crash Bandicoot on PS1.
I was so excited when I got it, I played for several hours straight.

this is not an indication of age. i just never played a video game until i was a teenager.
when i was a kid i found it more fun to fling down a steep hill (since i grew up in the city, it was usually a steep driveway) in my radioflyer wagon at breakneck speed without a helmet or breaks instead of sitting infront of a screen all day. (how did we stop? we turned it sharply and hit into something and rolled on the ground. and did it again. safe.)
the handle is your steering wheel while you sit inside.
please dont tell me im the only one here who did this!
i did this until i learned how to properly ride a bike anyways...
also, i never grew up with much money either, so we didnt have cable tv or anything either. it was a blessing now that i realise how kids with all that stuff typically turned out.

Oh I remember my first game quite well, it was a copy of Pokemon Red version. I puchased it in 1999 and I didnt even have a gameboy. What ended up happening was (this was when I was seven) I went to my friend Max's house where he had an original gameboy. I managed to play the game for the whole of 15 minutes before the gameboy ended up dying. From the moment I turned the game on I was hooked. I had no idea what any of the monsters were and I didnt care. I actually begged and pleaded with my dad for almost a week before he finally caved and bought me my first console, the game boy color. Since then I have been hopelessly addicted to the immersive worlds of video games.
The Simpsons game for the first Nintendo.
Pokemon: Blue Version for GBC, Killer Instinct Gold and 007: Goldeneye for N64. epic ass games right there
I'm pretty sure it was micromachines for the PS1

i believe my first game was tetris or mortal kombat
