you expressed your feelings on how the home page is becoming overrun with posts that required no effort, and consist of someone just saving anything they see on memebase. Couldn't help but notice that 22 out 24 pics here are straight from memebase.

i didnt just take them off the front page. i checked darkicons memebase posts with the ones on memebase looking for reposts. i scrolled through over 40 pages to find non-reposts and also one i thought were funny. there were a lot of non-reposts i saw that i didnt think were funny enough so i didnt save them.
its totally understandable. i kinda realized i was doing that when i was on memebase so i was like wait, i gotta make sure i dont repost cause then ill seem like an ass haha. i try not to take from there but they do have a lotta good stuff.

It's really fucking difficult not to repost pictures nowadays. There's just so many. Even if it's not up yet, and you think "Oh I'll post that!", there's a good chance it'll be up by the time you post.

that was my argument on the "sharenator population growing" post. like im glad sharenator is expanding. paul and darius are probably very happy. but for the sake of the site, the post rate is skyrocketing. i really appreciate the people that do series type posts. like darikon's memebase. the daily picdump one, and things like that. but when everyone tries to post the same stuff their posting things get really packed
