1. Always get you receipt and check the back. Allot of fast food places have 1-800 # to call for a “free 'insert random food item here'." Do the survey, and answer randomly until you have that magic code. And get your free item, they are not scams.
2. If you have a small group, order separately. If you each have your own coupon, you can all get the "free 'item'."
3. Do your math. I recently went to an Arby's (love Arby's) and ordered smart and I saved $1.00. If they have a value menu meal and you’re looking for a large regular meal, get the value meal and make it large, then order the sandwich you really want separately. The cost for the meal I ordered was 5.99 + .89= 6.88 for large. The sandwich alone with a large value meal was 3.99(sand) + 1.99 (value meal) + .89(large) = 6.87.
Not only was it a penny cheaper, I got an extra sandwich from the $1 menu for free, and I used the back of the receipt and got 3rd sandwich to take home.
4. If they offer free refill and your meal is for dine in. order the cheapest size they have and get unlimited refill, you might frustrate them, but you can save about a buck. If a large is 2.19 and a value drink is $.99
5. If you’re out with your significant other and you don't mind sharing, follow rule 4. And only order one drink, you can save another buck or two.
6. If your food is wrong even the slightest bit, get it replaced, allot of fast food companies have a "no return food behind the counter policy" and they will let you keep the mess-up and replace it with another sandwich.
7. If you want fresh fries or fresh anything, order it that way. If it’s not fresh to "your" standards take it back and get even fresher ones. 3Remember you paid them, not the other way around. You should get what you wanted.
8. Never threaten to call corporate. Corporate does not care. Ask for the number of the district manager. He/she has more scare power then "corporate". The district manager will investigate; corporate makes a single phone call.... find out if it’s a franchise, then call the owner, not corporate".

yep. Always check the bag, reciepts and any other papers. they tend to have cupons in them.

Go ahead and piss off the people making your food. Then, while eating it, watch the movie Waiting. Think they can't slip something nasty in while you watch them make it? Try 'em. I used to work at McD's and stupid ass customers got fucked with hardcore. Js.

I used to be a manager at wendy's if you notice they did something to your food, that's a law suit. the last thing the manager wants is to get fired because their employee screwed with someones burger or fries. If your nice and ask for fresh fries or something and tell them you will wait, make sure you actually wait. if they tell you "these are fresh" they are lying if you don't wait at least 5 minutes.(unless you watched them pull them from the fryer)
