    iphone.

lol im really tired of the iphone software. plus their phones are really small so im looking for a droid
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 8:32 am
    iphone 5, facial recognition.
    - foraref June 1, 2011, 3:19 pm
iphone 5, extra cost on wifi tethering, boring locked-up software, screen size 1 inch smaller, apps are a lot more expensive, at&t blows, the iphone for verizon blows.
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 3:21 pm
eh, I like my iphone, everyone I know that switched to the Droid from the iphone hates it with a passion. Working in IT I see a lot more problems with the droid then the iphone.
    - foraref June 2, 2011, 4:17 am
well because the iphone is simple. its a page of applications. theres less problems because there is no customization. and some people like that which i can understand. but personally i want some change. ive had an ipod touch for years and its honestly starting to bore me

    HTC THUNDER BOLT!!

any specific reason why? everyone seems to be saying its a very good phone but im reading some of the tech specs for all three and the droid bionic seems to be the most powerful. i like the droid x2 also but the thing deterring me from that the most is the fact that it lacks the front facing camera
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 1:24 pm
but the droid x2 is also a dual core

    HTC THUNDERBLOT
Infinite entertainment. Download movies, e-books, games, music and more in seconds. Pop out the kickstand, turn up the surround sound and enjoy hours of entertainment on the hi-res 4.3" screen.

Infinite possibilities. With an 8MP camera, LED flash, in-camera effects and a 720p HD camcorder, you can capture every moment in picture-perfect resolution. And with 4G uploads, you can unleash it instantly, for all your friends to see.

Phone screen, meet flatscreen. Built-in DLNA connectivity takes all the music, movies and photos on your phone and beams them up wirelessly to your flatscreen.

Beyond wireless. Launch a mobile hotspot and just like that, your phone turns into a wireless router, providing a Wi-Fi™ connection and the power of 4G for up to five devices.

The wait is over. With a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor and the power of Verizon's new 4G network, you can say goodbye to the loading bar. And with the new instant-boot feature, you can say hello, faster than ever before.

try to pick which ones better

The thing is, it has a very lot of nice features but the hardware isn't as up to par as the other two phones. The dual core processor is very nice
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 2:11 pm
Oh and I just made both these comments on e iPad at the Verizon store :P
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 2:12 pm
i just read through it again. those are some pretty nice features. but their pixel resolution and processor isnt as good as the droid x2. but it doesnt have a front facing camera. it does have a lot of very nice things to it though. im still kinda crossed. but thank you for the specs!
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 2:28 pm
no problem :) just glad to help...So have you decided?
    - XNickolas1111 June 1, 2011, 2:31 pm
sort of leaning towards the thunderbolt. the droid x2 has better hardware, but the thunderbolt has better software. and while hardware is definitely important, the software is what your going to really be in touch with the most. the thunderbolt is off 100 pixels in resolution and the processor isnt as good. but it has many other features i like. im leaning towards the thunderbolt atm
    - bufus101 June 1, 2011, 2:33 pm
oh and pun very intended =P

Do not value my input. To cut a long story short, here is what I would normally say:

    >I have no real idea on the subject
    >The iPhone is probably better
    >I understand that some people don't like iPhones
    >I would recommend a HTC because I think they are the best Androids, they are well designed and work well
    >I haven't owned a HTC so I don't really know
    >From what I read, HTCs look pretty good
    >Get the HTC

I like your argument. Very clean precise and honest. yeah the iPhone is very nce. They've masterered the touch screen. The problem is I'm tired of just a page of apps. Like that gets quite boring. Plus there are some features I like about the droids that are good. the only problem is the thunderbolt doesn't have as good hardware as the droid x2. But the droid x2 doesn't have a frontfacing camera and also the thunderbolt has better software
    - bufus101 June 4, 2011, 6:06 am
But to be honest, its a phone. It doesn't need amazing hardware if it is designed properly.

    Looking at the iPhone again...
The iPhone 4 only has 512mb ram.
    The 3GS has 256mb
    The 3G has 128mb

And therefore I assume the original only had 64mb :S

But look at them. They 99% of the time run fast. Yeah sure, the software only lasts about 2.5 years, to which Apple stop updating the software for that model. (The current software is 4.3 and the highest the 3G can get is 4.1. The 1st Gen can only have iOS 3!)
    - SkinnyBill June 4, 2011, 12:09 pm
i just dont like their software anymore. plus the size of their screens are too small for me anymore
    - bufus101 June 4, 2011, 3:34 pm
Thats all right, just make sure you have huge pockets then :P

Just remember to check the physical measurement. If you look at the iPhone and the Sony Ericsson Experia, the Experia looks MASSIVE because it has a bigger screen, but when you put them next to each other, they are pretty much the same size. Its just the experia have used more space where there are the black borders at the top and bottom of the iPhone
    - SkinnyBill June 4, 2011, 11:18 pm
thats what tech specs are for lol
