Downrate filter?
I was going through my e-mails a few minutes ago and I came across an e-mail from Paul about a downrate filter that was going to be implemented soon. It's supposed to automatically detect and ban abusive downraters. My question is what exactly this program will consider abusive. I'd hate to see any of the people who actually play fair on this website get abused because they were downrating someone who's constantly making offensive comments, or something along those lines. Another question. If it so happens that anyone does get banned, are they aloud to come back on sharenator and start posting again after a certain time frame?

What if several people use the same computer? IE...military deployment situations where several people share a computer. Also if you downrate several posts due to the fact that you dont agree with them, or they arent entertaining to you that is your right isnt it? If not wouldnt the same adverse actions be set in place for a situation where you ran across several posts and comments you did like and uprated?

So there will be no automatic bans. Feel free to downrate spammers, you're helping that way :)
