because I'm bored i feel like explaining missingo
in short, missingo was the data of the old guy's avatar when he showed how to catch a Pokemon, the developers needed a place to store it where it couldn't pop up in battle, so they chose the city file (no grass, no wild Pokemon) well the glitch happens when you are surfing the side of cinnabar because you are in a city but on a patch of grass, technically. I guess it tried to fix it by compiling other data either leftover or hidden forming the missingo glitch in whole (and no, i do not know about the 6th infinite item part) btw +2
