The Blackening is a damn masterpiece.
Meh. Not really into "metal " per say. I'm more into post-hardcore.
Sounds pretty much like hardcore to me.
Technically, I guess. Except, hardcore is constant screaming and growling.
I always considered yelling and some screams as a hardcore vocal, and growling more of a deathmetal thing. Also this is what I think of when I think hardcore.
Attila may be harcore( A little more metallic than older harcore), but I Declare war are deathcore.
Harcore
Deathcore
Harcore
Deathcore
I actually replaced them with Dr. Acula. xD
Dr. Acula are indeed hardcore, just not my taste in the genre.
Me neither. It's like hardcore dancing.
In my opinion Push moshing>harcore dancing.

To me, hardcore dancing is people flailing their arms around pretending to hit somebody.
Exactly, Say if they did that at a deathmetal show and hit someone. They should be prepared to get their ass kicked. Pits are meant to let out aggression and push people around not to be a dick.

Not bad at all.
Vocals are solid, I would definitive encourage the other members to be more aggressive with their instruments. The melodic edge is nice but I feel more technicality or groove would suit the band better. Not trying to be too critical just some recommendations.

I see the musical value, I definitely find the lead melody to be quite the mover, and just to share like everyone else, because my penis does most of my thinking,I'll share this one:
So glad teh politrix are beyond the jackassery of the scene in general.
Enjoy:D
