If what this person claims to be doing were actually possible , then people could edit security videos and things of the like to make it seem like history happened in a different way .
If you notice in the first section of the video , when the guy starts dragging a person back , another person comes into the video . All he did was rewind the video back a bit and edit a hand into it . Its not that amazing , its just basic flash edits .

This isn't that amazing, it's just dragging around on the video, scrubbing back and forth. I built one of these in Flash. The presenter makes it appear they drag the objects, but only because they click on the object and drag, but the video is not aware of what's a person and what's a car ,and what direction they can move it in. This is what I call virtual snake oil.

LOL. Your post is funny. I'm sure 6 researchers from the University of Toronto just slapped together a flash video. How do you explain the car and people moving at different speeds? How do you explain the dragging back and forth in time by moving the baloon up or to the side? Oh, that's right. You have no idea what's going on here. I forgot :)

The first poster is quite certainly wrong. It pretty obviously has some object detection which can be used to scrub the video by pulling the object along it's trajectory. However, my question would be, how do I know where to pull that object so that it scrubs the video correctly? I have to already know it's trajectory. What if I choose a different trajectory? What does it do then?
