For those who do not know, John Lennon was a Beatle. He played rhythm guitar. After the breakup he had a huge solo career. With hits like "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine".

All he wanted was peace. And those 24 hours after his death, we finally had it for a brief time to mourn this legend.

    Pantera's guitarist also shot on Dec. 8th. Whether or not the shooting date was a coincidence or planed will remain a mystery. Dimebag's gunman Nathan Gale was taken out by a 12 gauge shotgun blast to the face.

      Dimebag (Abbott) was the guitarist for Pantera. Or did they replace him with someone else and he died too? I guess I don't understand the "also shot" part, since Dimebag Darrell's name was Darrell Abbott.

    Lennon was one of those musicians with a good vibe to him. You can't really get angry listening to his songs.

    What pisses me off is all the jackshit retards who compare Lennon/Hendrix/any older band to Beiber/Jonas Brothers/Hannah Montana. There is no comparison.
