      Well if they made it to support green berets, despite the results from simulator, this video wouldn't differ from any average Hollywood movie.

      It still had some Hollywood bullcrap in the end. The winning Russian is portrayed as some kind of gorilla, shouting from the bottom of his lungs with a poor Russian accent. In reality, you wouldn't see this happening, especially if we're talking about elite Spetsnaz soldiers. You would see a calm and deadly soldier, concentrated on his mission, not some brainless beast.

      I'm not a guy who would go on supporting Russians (our country has suffered enough because of Russia), but this sort of thing really bothers me and spoils otherwise good American movies.

      Why don't they hire real Russian actors to do the roles of Russians? Even the best Hollywood actors fail to make themselves look or sound even remotely similar to real Russians. On top of that, Russians have some really great actors. Movies could be much better with them playing the role.

        I agree, but then again, we had the Green Beret's representing America... And the Army is no where near as powerful as the Marines or the Navy Seals. If we had Navy Seals here, it would be a good balanced fight. But the Green Berets are nothing special. A standard Marine Infantryman has the same combat training as an Army Special Forces soldier, so we picked the worse fighter to represent us. And c'mon... We brought a freaking shovel. The Spetsnaz had a knife that SHOOTS. We brought a shovel... We deserved to lose...

          US is the most advanced and most powerful force when it comes to war, no doubt about that. I wouldn't want to see you fight with Russia though, that would be one nasty war. The cost of victory would be enormous.

          Yeah, Green Berets' are meant to be used for unconventional warfare like training an insurection in an enemy country, as opposed to an all out gunfight like the SEAL's are.

          However, I don't think that the clip portrayed either Spetsnaz or the GB's as deadly as they really are

        In dead seriousness, russia's got dreams of imperialism. Paul, you're right. Lithuania and smaller border countries are going to be the first to go.
        Even Iceland has fallen economically to Russia, and they are a freakin island.

                  Well, who's to say no one ever will invade? Let me put it this way: Illegals like America. We know this because they risk arrest just to go there. Say what you will about them taking jobs/costing money to keep in the country, but at least they like you guys. Some of these other countries on the other hand don't quite care for you, and they keep getting richer and stronger. I'll leave it at that.

                    i can't help you one the future. you are correct that no one knows what the future can hold. all i can do is share my beliefs with some historical president to help bolster my point.
                    to your last point not all illigals like or treat the US people well. many do and are wonderful people, but many don't.

                      Well, up until 9/11 Muslim extremism was never directly responsible for American deaths. But during the cold war, Russia was indirectly responsible for the deaths of many Americans (They helped arm Vietnam for example.) But all of this aside, more Americans kill each other every year than illegals do. Heck, gun violence alone kills about 10000 of them each year. Gang violence is a bigger problem, which is linked to poverty. Therefore, I could argue that poverty is much more detrimental to your country than illegals.

                      Also of regular Americans. This goes to show that people with limited options tend to cause the most crime, not just the outsiders. It's only when we treat the outsiders like shit. If people could immigrate to the US more easily, it would reduce these problems.

      They actually did an episode with the Israeli Commandos VS Navy Seals. Seals won but it wasn't a bad match up. It's be cool to see them do Seals VS SAS though

            I know what you mean. I was especially pissed about the Pirate VS Ninja episode, because I feel like they missed the entire point of ninjas. (An army of each wouldn't fight each other, because Ninjas are assassins. Any good ninja is going to hide in the shadows and stalk a pirate properly. Then attack at the perfect moment. I know people make a big deal of the whole Ninjas vs Pirates thing, but it's a stupid match up)

              i agree. i gave up on the show during one episode when they tried to say a grenade and a Tommy gun are the same type of weapon. how stupid do these people think we are? or are they just trying to insult your intelligence so badly you must watch, like Baywatch.

                You're talking about the mobster vs cowboys episode right? I believe they tried to compare the pineapple grenade to the old western rifle. Seems odd, but what they were looking for was how many kills and how quick, but they ended up giving it to the rifle for that (grenade took to long to go off) this seems okay, but they neglect to mention that mobsters have rifles too! These mobs had so much money and influence, they could have whatever weapons they wanted. They only mentioned the Tommy gun! XD

                    Yeah, but in their defense, the stiletto was better at getting through the ribcage because of its size. Because of this, they saw it as a more efficient killer, but in all seriousness, we'll be here all day if we point out everything on the show that doesn't make sense.
