As we know, we've recently had another griefer attack. We rolled it back and got over it fairly quickly, why waste our time? We at first banned suspected participants, well we're amending that. We've got a new, better plan.
We hate the server, no... we despise it. We've grown to detest it more then Johnecash. Ok, maybe a little less... but it's close. For those who enjoy the thrill of building something great, and who enjoy the fun of it all. We're starting over again for the time being.
We can at any point revert to the current world of giant-boxes side by side and more chaos then an inner city.
We're making a new world with a new seed and for the time being very simple rules.
Don't grief.
Don't be rude to others.
Pick a lot and stick to it.
All caverns/mines are open game to everyone, no exceptions, no first dibs, no claims.
See? Simple!
Depending on how this week works out we may revert by the end of it, we may not. We're not sure yet. In the meantime those of you who wish to continue enjoying the server are free to do so, those whom were banned are for the time being unbanned, and the server is fresh and new again. And please, for everyone's sake, don't build your cobble castle in the middle of a already colonized port-town and ruin the waters by clogging them up.

Given the popularity of the server we are openly advertising that we are looking for new moderators. Specifically in timezones other then Eastern USA... (Or rather, playing in other timezones. We don't care where you live).
The server updated to 1.6, however not all of the plugins did. So at the moment to our knowledge you cannot lock chests. To work around this for the time being, we recommend hiding your valuables in a secret chest hidden somewhere special.
We would also like to address the subject of the Mods versus Admins, and the differences between the two.
On the server as we know the groups are Useless, Regulars, Moderators, and Admins. Moderator is the highest one should ever hope to aspire to.
Admins have the ability to spawn items at their leisure, why you may ask? For the simple reason of Admins are the ones who keep the server running. Both Financially and Technically Admins are the tip of the spear in ensuring flaws go unhitched and in the event of wide-scale griefing the latest backup can be restored.
Moderators on the other hand Do Not have the ability to spawn items at leisure. Moderators are a special group of players hand-selected by the Admins to monitor the server while the admins are not around and maintain order between players. They have the abilities they need to get the job done, but otherwise are just like regulars in that they also need to work for their supplies. Although there has been talk of a weekly allowance in Diamond Blocks...
To become a Moderator requires the support of nearly everyone on the server, aswell as a recommendation from at least 1 mod other then SaintKitsune. Then it's subject to Kitsune whether or not someone is actually made a mod.
If a Mod or Admin is abusing their power too heavily and impeding on a Regular's gaming experience, it's the responsibility of the Regular to document it and report it directly to us.

Alright ladies and gents, Children of all ages...
The new world isn't exactly as ready as it should be for all of you, but we are sure all of you are ready for it! The Whitelist is currently off, and anyone can join again. Although, be prepared for a small surprise in your entrance...
The rules are generally the same. You'll find them all where you spawn.
We have opened the doors before we could build our mega-fortress or community fortress for that matter... and as such for a limited time monsters are actually turned off.
However before going any further, we would like to reinforce this one simple concept. We assume if your on Sharenator, you already know how to screenshot? Well here's the thing ladies and gents... While we do have alternative systems in place, the absolute best thing you can do if you see anyone doing anything bad, or anything that could be considered evidence in griefing, is screenshot it and report it to us.
How should you let us know? Easy! Post the picture of the little bastard on this very sharenator post! Just remember if you accuse someone falsely you'll be in trouble too...
For our server to survive we'll need your cooperation...

I've gone on the server and I seem unable to do anything because I can't get or place any blocks (dirt, wood, etc.).
Is there a reason for this?
Am I meant to apply to use the server or anything?
What is your minecraft name? (reason being, you need to be added into the group regulars, and I or Dawn can do that, I'll try and get you in as soon as possible, but I have a schegdule to work around so, it may be a few hours before I can get back to you) We're still trying to work out this flaw, but better safe than sorry I guess...

We seem to be having problems with a griefer today, it's nothing on a major scale yet, but hopefully this can bring it to your attention Dawn, and you can deal with them swiftly.
Yeah, I can. Sorry about all this, we're whitelisting due to greifers atm til the plugins are updated. You should have been on that list (as its the regularr list), but I guess you slipped through.
Seeing as how I'm putting you back in, it might also be my ass on the line, so please, keep it clean (you haven't done anything wrong, I know, been on for a while, blablah... just have to say it for certain reasons, okay?)

Don't worry, that was just a typo, I got your name right, otherwise, you'd be getting kicked. As for the loading problem, it sounds like its your end, not the server's, so your best bet would to be to search for any solutions on the internet or something.
1. I have an internal dilema. My friend gav me a cracked copy of Minecraft and now I'm considering buying it for the sake of going on the server, but don't know if I should.
At the moment it's Vanilla, and you could try the crack but it is at your own risk, to our knowledge the server is at 1.6.6 (We think...) we're actually in Florida right now, and it's way too hot out. QQ
Okay, so we were greifed again. Nothing that a little backup can't take care of, but to be honest, we aren't in the mood for it. So to make an example, we shall be banning our prime suspects. Evidence and such will be updated later on this comment.
Also, I have posted some arguments I have witnessed, that have affected our decision in who got banned. If you would like to make a plea that you weren't guilty, reply to me. We'll go from there.

Hey just my two cents here but Caleb2233 has been dedicated to the server and I haven't had a problem with him nor would i think he would grief, his friends however I'm not to fond of.
More importantly whats up with the server? Is everyone blocked out right now?
Dawn's doing something with the back up so it's offline atm. As for caleb, I don't truly believe he would either, especially since some of the greifing was on his creations, but you have to remember that he vouched for over half those people to get in, and that was the agreement. But we can't even rule him out, mainly because that's the group where we suspected the griefing came from (even if we could, it's still his friends on his vouch.) But either way, he and his friends are getting dropped, we don't know permanently or what. They have to talk to us.
Alright I guess that's understandable. I hope for his sake they weren't the cause of the problems, but my guts tell me you suspect the right people. Hope all goes well with the backup. I'm sure I'll see you online later.

Edit: found some damage to the starter area place - looks like it was probably a creeper explosion, would upload a picture but I can't find the folder where minecraft screenshots get saved. >.<

Best way I got to the screenshot folder was opening the mods and textpacks folder from minecraft itself and going up a level, where you should see a screenshot folder. I created a shortcut to that and placed it on my desktop for easy access.
A friend of mine wishes to join the current server, but he needs someone to allow him to build, so when someone able to allow him to build has the time could they come on the server please?
Unfortunately we should inform you we are currently planning on shutting down the server. It was fun at first but there simply is not enough generated interest in keeping it afloat and playing on it. This may change if we find enough people wish it to remain online, but as of the moment it is our stance. We'll be on the server for a couple of hours tonight.
