        Seriously, just look at half of the declassified CIA documents released over the last decade or so and you'll see what he means. (Easily available online. National security and defense archive.)

        They've rigged elections, staged military coups in foreign countries, all that good stuff.

          Me still being a kid and all means, yes I am uninformed to an extent, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to the world around me. Despite my young age, I can tell when I'm being fed bullshit. I want to believe my government can keep me safe, but I know better. It's up to me as an American to set my own example, and to not be a stereotypical American; rude, selfish, etc.
          I don't want to be judged and classified by how my government handles it's affairs, but I know that it will happen anyway. So I work to prove people wrong by showing that I'm my own man, capable of holding my own opinion.
