I'd also just bought a polarising filter for my SLR so I was pretty much up all night testing it out and ended up with about 300 photos. These are just a select few of my favourite:
I just realised from some of the other photo's that the first cloud above the sun in the last picture is a Cirrus Kelvin-Helmholtz. Saw this kind first on the rare clouds post and is apparently 'rarely observed'... interesting...

Camera wise its a Canon 400D with the standard lens and a polarising filter.
