    "I'm Muslim don't panic" lol.

Don't get me wrong when I say this, but the score is more like:

    Obama: 0

Navy Seal who shot Osama: 1

Osama: 2,819 (number dead from 9/11 alone)

Yes, it's a victory that Osama is dead, but this leads a giant gateway open for those who were already angered by the US. Alquieda now has even more reason to attack us. I'm in no way saying we should have let him live. He needed to be dealt with.

But as for Obama getting any credit for this... that's just not right. The CIA did it. The Navy Seals did it. That helecopter pilot did it. Obama mearly said "kill him". Do not give credit to the commander in chief who had done nothing more than say "ok". Those men on the front line who risked their lives, who knew the copper might not come back for them, knowing they might be as good as dead to kill this one man... they get the credit.

I'm proud to be an American, and I will not stand by and watch one man who took no risk take credit for one of our nations most defining moments.

I don't like the president myself. I didn't vote for him. None the less Obama is the head of the military. He is the commander in chief. While Obama didn't kill Osama, Obama did make the call to send the team in. Once again I can't stand him, but I will admit he was part of this.

Thats how it is. No one gives his all the credit, no sane person any way. USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

Celebrate Osama finally being taken down? Sure. Celebrating a victory onset by Barak Obama? FUCK NO! This is a victory from those who worked fearlessly on gathering intelligence and those who lost tons of sweat and blood trying to find the bastard. This is a day to celebrate for those who have died striving for this very thing and cannot. DO NOT applaud Obama. Applaud those who were actually doing something.

While yes, the boots on the ground deserve most of the congratulations, there are plenty of "judgement calls" that a Commander In Chief can make to ruin an operation like this. At the very least you can commend Obama for not making one of those calls.

In fact, every media source I have heard from (CBS news, BBC America, New York Times online) Has maintained that Obama was heavily involved in the planning process for about 8 months, even throughout the budget battles, a looming government shutdown, and the resurrection of the controversy surrounding his birth certificate.

as a person fuck obama. as commander of the armed forces i must give him creadit for what he did do. he was part of the team that killed osama. while i can't not stand the man, i do respect what he did.

I think the terrorists are planning something big, because they don't let their leader just die, they will avenge him or something like that.

you are correct you don't let it happen. SOCOM makes it happen.

I like the way he's been buried at sea so no-one can use his final resting place as either a shrine or somewhere to dance upon!

I thought that was because of the customs of the Muslim nomad tribe Bin Laden was born into?
    - Jackylegs May 3, 2011, 3:24 am
Yes it is a bit of that but think about it.

It makes sense that nobody can now visit his grave.

i myself am skeptical, say what you want, but i think that osama remains alive. i mean, they're asking me to beleive that a guy who we've been locking for for ten years is just dead not only that but he was found in a fucking mansion, so instead of say hiding in a spider hole in the mountains he was chilln with his homies in a mansion. i think it sounds ridiculous, but dead or not it is a good morale boost for americans

if people in america always start freaking out like that and girls taking off clothes Ill have to kill a bunch of people

    • Vans
    • May 2, 2011, 1:28 pm
.... they were drunk and happy? why would that make you want to kill them? many of those people there may have had friends and/or relatives involved in 9/11. Now shut the fuck up so we can enjoy this in peace.
    - 24paperwings May 2, 2011, 2:42 pm
no I dont want to kill them duuuuude XD
I menat I need to kill some people so girls take off their clothes
    - Vans May 2, 2011, 3:16 pm
Haha I know what you meant Vans. But maybe instead of killing more people you could just supply more booze instead? lol Probably be a lot easier.
    - mrcbccadetx0 May 2, 2011, 3:26 pm
I dont know whats cheaper? a bullet or beer? and it depends on how much beer you need for killing a single person one bullet should do it
and yeah I dont need a weapon I just throw the bullet through somebodies head
    - Vans May 2, 2011, 3:43 pm
On second thought a bullets only about 10 cents so your kungfu throwing techniques probably going to be the cheapest way of doing this.

Why are people acting like Obama killed Bin Laden? Obama didn't do shit. He just sat on his ass and took most of the credit for someone else's work (or people are giving him credit). Some people are probably wondering why we gave him a proper burial instead of just spitting on the corpse and burning it for everyone to see, but that wouldn't be right. Sure he was the puppet master behind 9/11, but that doesn't mean that he isn't human. Even the wicked deserve a proper burial. Plus, it was a way of saying that we (americans) aren't bad people. I'll probably going to get downrated for this and johnecash (yes I'm going to mention his name because he might disagree with my statement) might try to argue with me about something related to what I said.

    well obama said "kill him"
    it is always like that
everyone remembers hitler and ceasar and napoleon but they didnt do anything either
soooo yeah thats what history is like
    - Vans May 2, 2011, 3:44 pm
i do disagree with you. the military is a team with the president being the commander. so yes the military killed him. who controls the military?

    #23 for the win

  • 0

You know Bin Laden pretty much won, right? He never thought he was going to win militarily, he just thought he could make the US panic. Which it did. Your country wasted 10 years and billions of dollars in the middle east. The place is still a mess, even with Al-Quaeda decimated. Some victory.

The celebration was not because we felt like we won. No one wins in war time situations. The United States citizens lost lives not only during the 9/11 attacks but during the wars that followed because of a terrorist group and a selfish need of oil by our government. Also in the middle east thousands of innocents lost there lives because of a war they were not even apart of. So no this was not celebrating a victory, this was a celebration in hopes that we are closing in on finally having peace in the middle east so we can bring our men and women home and allow the men and women of Iraq and Iran to start trying to rebuild their lives after the destruction we caused over there.

    Proud to be an American.

I feel terrible though. He was just doing what his God wanted him to do, right? And we killed him...

I don't know who downrated you, i mean i felt the exact same way.
    - MalverdeAl100 May 3, 2011, 8:17 am
Thank you! I wasn't trying to be Anti-American /: I mean, I think the guy deserved to die with all the people he killed. But still...
    - mackenzieBizzatch May 3, 2011, 12:45 pm
    I know kinda felt bad
    - MalverdeAl100 May 3, 2011, 12:49 pm
You clearly know nothing about islam.
    - HippyBoy June 21, 2012, 8:15 am
    about Jihad*
Most muslims are pretty awesome if they don't push it in others' faces. It's just the ones who decide that everybody has to be converted or killed - Osama - that fuck things up, and bring about jihad against others. the vast majority have for centuries learned to live alongside everyone else.
fair point though, just a lil more specific
    - Bekenel June 21, 2012, 1:20 pm
True dat, personaly i'd say Osama wasn't islamic but hey technicalities.
    - HippyBoy June 22, 2012, 10:30 am
militaristic islamic? i mean there is a point made in the Qur'an about converting everyone, but it says that in the bible as well. These guys are just one step up from retarded outspoken 'christians' who take everything in the bible literally
