And George was any better? He put us in a war that was useless and not needed. Just for that we were in debt, and we've lost American lives for what cause? Blame Bush, not Obama.
Yes, George was better. He got us through 9/11. And the war was important. Whether it was being committed to us or not, injustice was being done, and it's our responsibility, as humans, to help alleviate those suffering under the hand of a tyrant.
George W. handed over the country with a plummeting deficit and economy, trapped in two wars with no plans of ending.
Obama was handed a country that was flushed down the toilet, and he has a very tough job of pulling our shit back out of the pipe. While he should not have been awarded the Nobel PEACE prize, he should not be blamed for every mistake made by Bush, that put us in our current situation.
It's funny how most people just rant about what they hear Bush did, without taking time to look up how much of our troubles were caused by the Clinton administration.
The entire presidency reminds me of the joke about the new boss and the 3 envelopes. Going to cut and paste it below.
A fellow had just been hired as the new CEO of a large high tech corporation. The CEO who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. "Open these if you run up against a problem you don't think you can solve," he said.
Well, things went along pretty smoothly, but six months later, sales took a downturn and he was really catching a lot of heat. About at his wit's end, he remembered the envelopes. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, "Blame your predecessor."
The new CEO called a press conference and tactfully laid the blame at the feet of the previous CEO. Satisfied with his comments, the press -- and Wall Street - responded positively, sales began to pick up and the problem was soon behind him.
About a year later, the company was again experiencing a slight dip in sales, combined with serious product problems. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO quickly opened the second envelope. The message read, "Reorganize." This he did, and the company quickly rebounded.
After several consecutive profitable quarters, the company once again fell on difficult times. The CEO went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope.
But can't we blame him for not doing what he said he would do, which was to bring us out of "Bush's economic disaster" which if you look at the facts, only turned downhill once we got a democrat controlled congress. Though I blame Bush for not using his veto power to block some of the crap congress did.
Blame Bush, I'm not with you, but I'll accept it on the premise that Obama promised recovery. Hell Biden called this summer the "Summer of Recovery." We are still shedding jobs and nothing has improved in the slightest. We just have a healthcare bill that will bankrupt the country more. horray, what success. He still hasn't close Gitmo which was the VERY FIRST BILL HE SIGNED. Yes, we can blame him for utter failure. Some of the more liberal people I know are at least not blind enough to see he's done nothing. If you don't you are choosing to have eyes wide shut. Good luck, please steer clear of the voting booth this fall.
He didn't do shit as a senator, why did most of America think he was going to do anything as President? I love this picture. +3 Fuck Obama, we need Clinton in office.
I would have loved to have Bill back in office, but we all know that can't happen. I figured, at least with Hillary in office, we could have Bill still in the White House. And we all know that he's be like, "Bitch, this is how you do it!"
aighhhhht here it is bitches.
the national debt went up 4 trillion dollars under bush's 8 year in office. thats a lot of fuckin money that he was probably spending on bullshit. but wait, whats this, the national debt went up 3 trillion dollars in obamas first two years. wow. hes just a fuckin idiot then. at that rate, if he was elected to a second term (yeah right), he would spend about 12 trillion dollars while in office. thats more than what the fuckin deficit was when he took office. tsk tsk mr. president. also unemployment when bush left office, about 6.5%, as of right now, about 9.2%. but yeah i see how that is president bush's fault. anything else you butthurt nigger lovers wanna talk about. and you can sit there and type to your little hearts content that obama is so much better and that its all bush's fault. but fact is fact. obama sucks. bush was better. getttttt the fuck over it and move on.
dude. seriously is it that big of a deal. i dont hear anyone cry when a black person says cracker but OH MY FUCKING GOD that guy just used the "n word" people serioulsy need to get over that shit. if people didnt make it a big deal then it wouldnt be a big deal. everybody has to get all butthurt about it though. its just a fuckin word. you'll live man. i promise.
the word is not the problem. the word is in many ways like a gun. not an issue until a fool uses it. yes i will live, that was never in question. what is in question is your ability to criticize some one while not sounding like a fool. so far you fail. you have a wonderful point, but sound like an ass when you say it. all of your points have nothing to do with skin color, yet you have poorly attempted to make it about that. when you act like a fool, you loose credibility. tell me again what skin color has to do with the point you are poorly trying to make? nothing. you are so far no better than the people you put down.
i wasnt making it about skin color. i use the word to describe people i dont like. wether the be black, white, yellow, or green. it doesnt matter to me. i dont like people who support obama just becasue "hes not george bush" therefore the niggers i was refering to are those people.
you said
"anything else you butthurt nigger lovers wanna talk about."
say anything you want how ever you want. i every day my expectations of who i see on the net goes down hill. historically and in the way you use it, it means something much different to people than people you don't like. your vocabulary has been found to be lacking.
"
well its not my fault people are stuck in the 1800's with their vocabulary. i meant it how i meant it. yall take it how you want. i dont feel bad nor will i ever feel bad for offending someone with what i say. its my opinion and if you dont like then ok. it doesnt affect you.
you are correct you don't affect me. i am just sad that people like yourself can't be any better than the people you put down. i do enjoy how you say its not your fault people are stuck in the 1800's. "butthurt nigger lovers" is not vocabulary from the 1800's. that hatefull vernacular is from...TODAY.

But Obama really did nothing for world peace.

The message said, "Prepare three envelopes."

And btw, before I get jumped by the Dem biznitches, I'm a libertarian.
And to reiterate myself, for the zillionth time, He hasn't had the chance to do anything because he's been cleaning up Bush's mess.
