Battlefield BC 2 Vietnam - Announced -
On stage at the EA E3 press conference we announced a new expansion of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with a new take on a Battlefield franchise favourite, Vietnam. In Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam you get to enter the jungle warfare environment as either the U.S. Marines or North Vietnamese Army (NVA). The expansion pack contains 4 brand new maps built in Frostbite including the popular Conquest and Rush game modes as well as Vietnam specific weapons, vehicles, persistence, unlocks as well as new awards, achievements and trophies.

its going to be a-w-e-s-o-m-e !!! I am pumped about this and also the new medal of honor that comes out in October. This game ( BBC2 Vietnam ) is going to blow everyone away though , its utilizing all the best parts of DICE and its going to be silly ( that means awesome ) !!!
Im a simple guy - I LOVE FPS and war games. I am back and forth between BBC2 and IL2 Sturomovik Birds of Prey - It ( and HAWX ) stays in my rotation as well as Battlefield- Nothing can match that feeling of downing a flight of He 111's in your P-51D Mustang , all 6 guns firing and watching the vapor trails as the rounds hit their mark... its awesome.

both games look great but they i don't think thats my new "fix" that i am looking for. its been a while since i have been addicted to a game. i truly hope it has nothing to do with me getting older and more to do with the available games. only time will tell. i am looking forward to SOCOM when ever it decides to come out.
no- I am totally with you. I am a FPS/Squad shooter junkie my self - something to do with loving the way a M4 feels in my hands in real life but not being able to use it like I can in the game - lol - Have you tried Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1 or 2 ? Honestly , COD MW1 single player campaign is still unmatched to me - the mission where you can be the support gunner in the AC 130 gunship is still one of my favorite missions of all time. There are some great games out there and I don't think age has anything to do with it - Im 31 and play at least 2-4 hours a week when I am super busy. Its my release and a lot cheaper than buying a couple of thousand rounds of 5.56 to relax me. Anyways - if you like western movies - try Red Dead Redemption - its like Grand Theft Auto meets Rooster Cogburn in a video game...
I have played COD 1&2. i enjoyed the single player and the co-op. i have a 50 inch lcd 1080p tv with a thx certified 7.2 receiver and loved the sound of that game. due to the ac-130 scene i had to reattach some pictures on the wall after they fell off due to the sound. the online was fun for a while but people are more concerned about stats than the game. that to me is no fun. i don't know if you have played MAG, but that was the game i was hoping would get me my online shooter fix for the summer. well in that game people don't use/understand/follow the chain of command. once again people are only worried about their Kills to death and not wins. i had such high hopes for mag. its the best idea for a game i have seen in a long time. the problem with mag, cod, bfbc is not the games. the games are great. to me the problem is the people playing the games. i am 32 and i can not stand having to listen to some kid yell at his mom while i am playing.
i did play red dead. i enjoyed the single player very much. not so much the online. don't get me wrong i have not written of games. i am very hopeful for the future. grand turismo, SOCOM and many more are on the way. i just hope there are games on the way that are fun to play with people online. i know i will enjoy SOCOM due to the fact that i know enough people where i should not ever have to play with strangers and only friends. that makes a huge difference. am i alone when i say the biggest problems with games today are not the games, but the people who play them? i could care less what your kill to death is if you are not part of the team.

you are preaching to the converted my friend - there is nothing worse than listening to little kids whine while I play - I have enough of that at home. That precisely is the reason that I switched from COD to BBC ... It seems to cater/draw in an older group. Anyways - I agree completely with MAG - I played at a friends house and it was enough to keep me from buying it myself. Great concept , bad execution.

I figured you would be in the front of the line. I'm pretty stoked an have been reading the message boards on EA too. I wonder if they will do a version of the BBC 2142 for PS3 ?
yeah - that is shitty. I heard they continue to find defects with that exact thing. They continue to release patches and updates to correct it but its so frustrating to bust your ass to reach an achievement and then not have it happen due to a glitch.... I think I am going to get Red Dead Redemption this weekend , but I still LOVE wreaking havoc in BBC2 - I need to rank up - Trying to get close to your style. You are tops in the world bro - that's a big fucking deal to me.... Anyways - congrats and keep on killin' it.
