Bad News Guys
Guys, just got a message from Paul and Darius. Some good news. First off, Sharenator, since it's creation way back in 2007, has been rapidly growing and growing. More and more members are joining, and site traffic is rapidly growing. This proves that Paul and Darius were successful in doing what they've wanted to do: make a website and watch it grow successfully.
However, the bad news is that Paul and Darius spoke to me last night. Sharenator has been seen by many as the spiritual successor, or a site that rivals and maybe even surpases Digg, in terms of layout and content. As you may or may not know, the owners of Digg, after dealing with problems of its own, has tried to sell the website. It was revealed however, that Paul and Darius were approached by a representative of Digg about selling the Sharenator domain and trademark, in order to make it part of Digg, in hopes of "sweetening the pot" for a potential sale, much like the sale that almost went through to google that fell through in early 2009.
Paul and Darius informed me that they have accepted for an undisclosed amount (thats their business, since its their website), and they informed me that in 2 weeks, Sharenator will be closed for good.
I just have to say its been an honor being with you guys, and I'm going to miss it. Hopefully whatever happens to this site, Sharenator will hopefully live on in one way or another.

I was thinking the same thing even before clicking the hyper link. Good work, LCpl, Conboy.
I thought it was real. Being at school, the link was blocked, so I couldn't read that it was fake.

seeing how its April 2 here and the date posted was on april 2 as well, it took me until i remembered that its April 1st in America and other places...... and fuck you kent.... I really wouldn't of had the money to buy a new computer or a wall where the computer would of been thrown through!
