Same with mine. My teacher was showing us a problem on a projector and after cleaning the overhead a girl in the front said and I quote "Its still wet"... Needless to say. I was detained.

Stupidest detention I ever got was for getting high score on Math Munchers and putting in the name Dick. I tried the old, "That's my nickname" routine when I got caught, but it didn't work.

Detention is basically practice prison, where you get to meet all the people you will be supporting with your taxes in 5 years.

The stupidest thing I ever got in trouble for was.....reading. I shit you not. I was reading in advisory class and we werent doing anything. The teacher comes up to me, takes the book and says Im not allowed to read. I got pissed so I took out another one and started reading. He takes it, gives me detention. I take out ANOTHER book (i used to read a lot lol) and finally he was like "GO TO THE OFFICE". Our principal was such a bitch, she told me "We DO NOT tolerate DEFIANCE." And I got 2 days of in-school suspension. But it was worth it because he look like a goddamn idiot when I kept taking out books lol.

I remember in first grade when I got a "Detention" for walking across a stage. The stupid thing is that it's in the middle of the playground and it was my first day how was I supposed to know? One day if I go back I'll take a picture of it to show you guys.

i got in trouble for insubordination and for arguing with the teacher most of these times were because my geometry teacher wouldn't let people leave the room without a referral from the office i would have to go to the restroom during this time and instead of walking over to her desk and asking if i can use the restroom knowing the answer i would just get up and quietly leave the room do my business and come back without interrupting class. roughly 8 out of 10 times she would stop me tell me to return to my seat so i would use the same argument stating that i shouldn't have to ask to preform a natural bodily function and i would still proceed to go to the restroom every time this happened i would come back grab my things and go to the principals office to have a chat about why i did what i did each time i got detention or suspended but i proved my point that i would go when i had to go.
