The first sentence was referring to the fear culture within America, something which I am actually very knowledgeable about (even if I sound arrogant saying so). The second was a question directed at the person above specifically, not the nation. The third was designed to show how I think far too many people think about the world and themselves. I've never said anything negative about the American people as a whole because that would be a ridiculous comment to make, I've made several about the nation itself however :P

I generally consider myself pretty mature. I'm also willing to accept when I'm ignorant on a subject, I'd then try to learn more on the subject to make up for my shortcomings. Ignorance is a very different thing to stupidity and isn't something people should ever be ashamed of.
