Andy Whitfield (17 July 1972 – 11 September 2011)
Probably known to everyone here as Spartacus from Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Lost his battle with cancer 18 months after his cancer diagnosis, Whitfield died of non-Hodgkin lymphoma on 11 September 2011.
Once again we lose a great actor and a great man :(

he was a true legend of the arena and small screen in spartacus and he will also be remembered for his leading role in Gabriel..he was an amazing actor and i know how much it has saddened you and i dragkyre..maybe we should have a spartacus marathon and toast his memory :) R.I.P Andy you will be sorely missed by your family and adoring fans
