Well, if you want to be kept in the loop, this album and their last album are both concept albums. To understand what's going on, I's suggest listening to The Emptiness and reading the short story they wrote about it. This album starts the story from the beginning. The Emptiness started it in the middle.
The Emmtpiness is about a sketch artists descent into madness. A Place Where The Sun Is Silent, I think explains the origin of his insanity.
If you want the story, buy the albums in stores, not online.
Meh, they've always sounded terribly generic to me. I usually avoid bands signed to epitaph records anyways but I'll cease to speak on the matter to avoid being a dick.
Well they were signed onto Fearless Records, but signed onto Epitaph for their new album.
