i'd say this is kind of stupid, he was a chubby little boy so its normal he grows up big. weasley draco and harry were/are all skinny and therefore will be skinny idk

    actually i think he said in an interview that in order to make him look bigger he had to wear a fat suit and put little things behind his ears to make him look a bit more awkward. they let him take it off during the final 2 films or something to show his "coming of age" or something like that
