I just say Black people, I don't say it in a derogatory way, I just simply say it.
I think "African American" is completely retarded, there are plenty of white people that live in Africa, if one of them moves to America and obtains citizenship are they "African Americans"?

I agree. My friend is the whitest guy I know but he was born in Africa. He's actually kind of appalled by the American vernacular.
well, i'm white, but some where down the line, my ancestors came from Europe, nobody refers to me as euro-canadian... plus there are other countries like Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican's and so on... nobody says Jamerican, Haitian American and so on... some ppl are afraid to be racist and call some one black, so they say afro american, i think its stupid.

You are correct and seeing as I am not of African decent or black I cannot answer this discussion with truth I only submit my speculation. (I would assume most black people would not like to be called African American because they no longer hold links to Africa)

Nigga everyday is white history month. Everyday white people be comin up to me and be like...remember when my people owned your people. You always bring up history. I ain't complainin i'm just sayin everyday is white history month. I say fuck history and lets move on.
