also, dont expect to get a girlfriend when your a freshman. my coach in 8th grade explained this to me. alot of time older guys go with younger girls, theres nothing wrong with this (to an extent). but the thing is is that your the youngest guy, you kinda get nocked out of the equation. just worry about friends your freshman year. i didnt have a girl freshman year. Now that im a senior iv had multiple relationships, and a couple commited ones, including my current girlfriend of 9 months. And she is in fact a grade younger than me. just give it time, its alot harder for freshman guys.
just dont take it personally

Make sure your not very obnoxious around her. Be nice, and open doors for her, and do some small stuff that she asks you to do. Don't be too nice where she might get weirded out, but don't be mean either.

Most girls want a nice guy, and not the kind of guy that gets in trouble a lot.

Also, don't try to go out with a prep. When you go out with a prep, it is usually only relationships that last maybe a week or two at the most. It won't be very long. Unless you just want to have a girlfriend temporarily.

Basically what Zink said, get to know her so that you know she's someone you'd want to hang out with. But don't be too nice and let her walk on you. I hate girls who are like "Be my bitch and carry my stuff". Be honest and dont be afraid to speak your mind abut anything

Stop looking. The best relationships happen spontaneously. If you want to sew your oats, go to parties and get it over and done with. And as opposed to ZINK's advice if you meet a girl that doesn't like how you act with your friends you're destined for mind games. He says be yourself but don't be yourself. A bit confusing I'd say. What's the point of having a girlfriend that doesn't want to hang out with you and your friends while being yourself? Unless that friend time consists of lighting your farts on fire and playing doorbell-ditch. If that is the case than you're not ready for girls.

  dont just randomely ask her out. that is not good advice. get to know a girl, become friends with her but still flirt (not to strong) so that she knows that your into her. when you find the right oppertunity ask her "hey i was wondering if you want to go see [insert movie you think the both of you would be interested in here] this weekend, i heard its supposed to be really good." if she says no dont be too bummed and dont keep trying to push the date on her. if you two connect at the movie ask her if she wants to go out again sometime. and after the 2nd or third date you can ask her if she wants to be your girlfriend. and you dont have to pick a movie as your first date, thats just me. make sure you act yourself, but not how you would act with your guy friends. dress nice around her and use your manners, make sure your very polite and compliment her often.
