I'll tell you what it is. It's called marketing stupidity. Think about it. Are you more prone to remember A. A well worded and business designed ad or B. The utter stupidity above? It's an actual marketing strategy. Stupid, I know. But it's effective.
They take something stupid or annoying and get it stuck in your head. Like Safelite Autoglass. Their jingle "Saflite repair, Safelite Replace" or Office Depots' "WOW! THAT'S A LOW PRICE!" guy.
