this is sad how much black music it leaves out. i want the blues, from missipie delta to chicago, where is the funk, where is the soel and R&B. the person who made this list is LAZY

You seem to have misunderstood the point of the post, or I did. From what I can think of, it's trying to bring attention to how complex and well thought out African American music used to be, compared to the incredibly simplistic way it is now. Although honestly, I think the pictures speak just as much as the sheet-shots.

while i do agree with what you are saying now that i understand i can not say we are correct. we are debating taste. its hard to say what the best art is. rappers while they can be very stupid as people can be wordsmith. i agree i think the music has gone down hill. but thats an oppinion not a fact.
