I think to actually know a whole decade you would need to live right threw them. If you were born in 85 you are not saying "Oh yeah I am an 80's kid and I remember wearing colorful stuff and have crazy hair" No you dont because you were 5.
Or "yeah I remember woodstock" when you were born in the 60's.
I was born 90 and I only remember half of the 90's. I grew up with computers and CD's. But I lived my childhood threw the 90's and in 2000-2010 I lived threw my teenage years.
Stick with your fucking decade and differ between childhood and teenage years. As a teenager the 90's were probably a lot cooler. I hate it when a kid says he is from the 90's and he never ever played the original sonic on the NES or mega man or any of that awesome crap. I went with my pokemon cards to elementary school to trade cards and even sometimes play the game XD. No one born in 96 can tell me he went with pokemon cards to elementary school BS.

It is just because many jokes on the internet are based on the 90's and they are trying to understand them but can't.
In 10 years they can make their own about their own decade. It is not like the 90's will be the most awesome decade ever. The 80's were fun, people who played pacman and stuff. I played pacman but that does not make me a 80's kid lol. The new decades are pretty awesome too. If you are a kid now you have things like kinect and these awesome graphics and when these kids are in their teenage years damn they could have some fun.

Exactly, I was born in 1991. I remember when pokemon came out and taking my cards to school in second grade, watching the actual "Mighty Morphing Power Rangers" on Saturday mornings, and having to ride my bike to my friends house to play multiplayer video games. Those were the days lol :(
God I loved that. I remember playing pokemon and yugioh in the playground at school with my friends. That was awesome xD

thats the point, some remember the early 2000's and act like that were the 90's. I dont actually remember but at that time I think that weren't the original 150 anymore. I think the early 2000's were the time of silver and gold.

Its was the second generation and the 1st that i remember. The only thing i really miss form the 90's were the cartoons(Those of which I watched in the early 2000s as reruns)
I was born 95" and I really do remember most of the things in the list. I don't know if most of the cartoon were re runs or what ever but I definitely remember them.I would say I am a ninety's kid however I think that if it wasn't for my older brother then that may not have been the case... all i know is that I haven't watched the fresh prince in years but i know all the words so... Oh well tell me what you think! I'm from England btw if that makes any difference. :D

that is actually impossible, you cant remember anything until you are 3 years old because you brain just doesnt save anything. Until you are 3 years old your brain is learning to walk and speak and so on. So you wanna tell me you remember all this even though you are only able to remember 1999? Yeah right. You may saw some old cartoons. Sunday morning after partying at 6 o'clock they show the real x-men and sonic x and old mickey mouse and so on until 10 and then they show super action hero squad
