If you Google it you can find a bunch of example of people keeping McDonald's meals for years (even decades) and they look like they were just ordered. Burger is dry and the bun a bit crumbly but no mold or rot happens to the meal at all... scary shit.

Actually, it's not. See, the real reason why food rots is that bacteria grows on the food. However, bacteria can't really turn left or right in a really curvytunnel. Therefore, if you put stuff in a container with a curvy tube the only opening, your food will last for years! It's not scary shit...it's science.

They're in identical jars...one shows decay, one doesn't. So bacteria are clearly able to do their thing here...just not so much with the McDonald's fries. And decay can be caused by fungus too, not just bacteria.
