yeah i think it wont happen too but with the movie coming out it just got me thinking about it and what others thought.

yeah but there r loads of other major events happening aswell that people believe could cause global change the most scientific is the great alinement where the earth sun and the centre of the galaxy are all inline this normally happens every few thousand years no one knows the effect of the alinement but some believe it could cause global change in weather or even a reversal of the poles meaning pretty much loads of chaos. Also they have worked out that one of these alinements happened around the time 90% of earths plants and animals died due to climate change. pretty wierd stuff.

Where are the Mayans now? It is all hype to get more grant money. Try to follow this now...Earth is 5 billion years old or so. Homo sapiens have been around for about 200000 years. Our existence is only a blink of an eye when you look at the big picture, how can we possibly know any of this. Nothing is proven, just scientific voodoo.
